Spa Policy Sheet

Office Hours:  Our business hours are Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm.

Water Level:  Due to insurance liabilities, we are not allowed to add water to your spa on a regular basis, so please keep an eye on your water level and fill as needed.

Draining: The water in your spa will need to be changed generally every 6 to 12 months depending on use. Since spas are a small body of water, they grow quickly in dissolved solids and conditioner levels which can be harmful to you and your spa equipment. We will drain & refill your spa when your TDS (total dissolved solids) exceeds 1500 ppm or when your conditioner level is over 200 ppm. This service is $75-150 depending on the size of your spa and includes start-up chemicals. If you want to drain your spa yourself, please let us know, so we don’t schedule it for you!

Cover Sealing (optional):  While draining your spa, it is a good time to have us seal your cover. We thoroughly clean your cover and apply a sealant that helps protect against UV rays and  other outdoor elements. This prolongs the life of your cover. This service is $50-75 depending on the size of cover. A typical spa cover will cost $400-500 to replace which we can do as well.

Salt Systems:  The salt cells have life spans of 3-5 years and range from $550 – $700 to replace. These cells need to be inspected and cleaned in an acidic solution for proper maintenance every 3 – 6 months. There is a $30 fee for this service.

Annual Filter Service:  does not include portable spas

This service is usually $95 and needs to be done once or twice a year depending on your system. Occasionally grids and other parts may need replacing. Tank o-rings also need to be replaced 2 or 3 years and usually cost around $30. If you want to clean your filter yourself, please let us know, so we don’t schedule one for you! We track your last service date in our system.

Vacation Policy:  We take a week off for Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. We usually take the week of or week after the holiday off but please call the office if you want to know exactly which week we’re taking off.

Holiday Policy:  In the event of a holiday, we may either service your spa the day before or after the actual holiday. Please call the office with specific questions.

Rain Policy:  In the event of rain, we will clean out baskets, check and balance chemicals, and come back on our next service visit to clean your spa.

Billing:  We usually bill customers between the 10th and 20th every months. There will be a late fee of $5 or 1.5% of the total amount owed (whichever is greater) every month if payment is not received by the 10th of the following month. For example, the payment for April will be due May 10th or late fees will apply.
